The Director of Sales is responsible for building a high-performing sales plan to meet targets, growing a team of sales professionals, and overseeing both our consumer and business sales teams. This dynamic position requires a high performer with a developed ability to context-switch. In this role, you’ll frequently work on both high-level strategic work and front-line coaching, and you’ll oversee everything from consumer to enterprise sales and everything in between. If you are ready to make a huge impact in a growing company, we would love to hear from you!   In this role you’ll:  * Develop action and resources plans to meet or exceed revenue targets across all lines of business * Be a constant motivational force to encourage and align sales teams around departmental goals and targets * Grow, coach, and manage diverse sales teams including the development of both individual contributors and managers * Manage relationships with vendors, recruiting partners, and strategic clients * Proactively leverage data in our sales technology systems to identify sales team strengths and opportunities for improvement * Collaborative with Operations and Finance to establish and manage targets, forecasts, compensation plans, and reporting. * Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Excellence to enable the sales organization and to assist in campaign planning and top of funnel activities * Collaborate with Product and Operations to identify ongoing product & process improvements in support of sales success * Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on sales pipeline performance and forecasts internally and externally to the Board   In the first six months you’ll: * Learn how to confidently tell the Uvaro career success story, and understand the tech sales employment crisis * Hire, train, manage and inspire a team of focused, dedicated individuals into multiple sales roles across multiple product offerings. * Build a predictable pipeline of employers with sales-related hiring needs across our portfolio of employer products * Partner with our Operations team to develop new weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting processes for internal and external stakeholders * Work with our People Operations team to spearhead the development of Uvaro’s internal Career Success framework the the sales organization * Build trust with the rest of the Executive Team and Board through demonstrated sales competency, strong core values aligned to those of the business, candid communication style and a dedication to the business   What we’re looking for: * Demonstrated ability to work in an organized and methodical way. Someone who gets excited about well-planned days and checking tasks off their list  * An unquenchable curiosity. Genuinely interested in customers, team members and their goals. Someone who browses the CRM compulsively * Goal oriented with demonstrated history of target setting and target attainment or overachievement * A strong sales intuition. Has a deep appreciation for the value of sales and sales people to an organization * Someone who demonstrates candour; a leader who is not afraid to ask new or tough questions and challenge the status quo in the best interests of the business * Is decisive and biased towards taking action. A demonstrated history of keeping the team focused and moving forward with a sense of urgency, regardless of the circumstances. * A healthy sense of competition. Loves to understand their surroundings, then find and leverage competitive advantage.
