Job Overview
The System Administrator role is part of our Technology Services team that supports our enterprise business applications focused on collaboration, workflow, request forms and intranet facilitation. This role is responsible for supporting, developing, configuring, testing, implementing and maintaining the Salesforce environments.
Job Responsibilities
  • Serve as main point of contact for support, administration and maintenance for Salesforce platform and associated applications
  • Working directly with end users to resolve support issues and fulfill requests within the Salesforce environment
  • Managing Users, Creating and maintaining custom objects and fields, handling bulk data migration, maintenance of page layout, and installation and support of app exchange applications
  • Ability to identify the root cause of the production incidents and provide quick solution
  • Investigate issue tickets and requests, determining the root cause and proposing ideal solutions to solve for the request
  • Design, document, build, test and deploy enhancements to custom objects, page layouts, workflows, alerts and notifications, email templates, triggers and workflows, reports, views and dashboards
  • Maintains an understanding of Salesforce modules and software licensing functionality
  • Authors and maintains technical documentation
  • Import and export data from in-house system software
  • Create and update users, maintain user hierarchy rules, roles, permission sets, and profiles to ensure system security
  • Providing updates, status and completion information to tickets in the work queue regarding current assigned incidents, resolution efforts, and projects

Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications
  • Prior experience providing system administration or application support for financial systems
  • Salesforce user or similar CRM experience
  • 3+ years admin or IT experience
  • Salesforce Admin Certification
Preferred Technical Skills & Competencies
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or Business is preferred
  • Financial Services industries experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of support and maintain the Salesforce system
  • Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office are essential; experience with CRM systems preferred
  • System Administration Certification preferred
  • Work in challenging and ambiguous environments
  • Basic knowledge of the business process
  • Ability to make decision on assigned tasks
  • Ability to communicate effectively to team members on a regular basis
  • Strong customer service skills and focus required
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and operations skill sets
  • Self-initiates incident resolution
  • Curious about learning new technologies and process
