Job Description
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
The Inside Sales Representative II is responsible for developing business with U.S. K-12 school districts and colleges/universities and selling and supporting educators using PASCO products and services. Works under direct supervision of Director of Domestic Sales.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Consults with customers on appropriate PASCO products via telephone, video, email and chat.
- Generates prospective customers through cold calling and other means of lead generation.
- Makes sales through inbound and/or outbound sales activities.
- Meets company sales quotas.
- Focuses on acquiring new customers and retaining/growing an existing installed base of customers.
- Qualifies and follows up with inbound marketing sales leads.
- Generates and distributes leads to outside sales representatives in support role.
- Presents and demonstrates products in a virtual environment.
- Assists in marketing communications for outside sales support.
- Assists in validation of contact management from inbound web contacts.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Four-year college degree in science or engineering, or equivalent
- Previous sales and/or classroom teaching experience
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Phone/virtual sales experience.
- High school or college/university level teaching experience in science or engineering.
- Experience using data collection software and probeware through college science curriculum.
- CRM experience (i.e., Sugar, SalesForce, NetSuite, Dynamics 365, etc.)
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee frequently is required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, twist and turn body. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds, as well as pushing or pulling items with a force of up to 5 pounds.
This position does require the ability to perform under stressful conditions and high-volume demands.
