Job Description

Pro-Formance Intermodal is an asset based Transportation Company providing final mile warehousing and trucking services within Canada and asset based or 3PL Logistics throughout North America.

We are a seasoned supply chain provider headquartered in Calgary with an additional Facility in Edmonton. In our Calgary warehouse we provide a full suite of 3PL services including container destuffing, cross docking, short and long term storage, pick and pack, and distribution. Pro-Formance is a recognized Sufferance Warehouse and Bonded yard provider. In addition - we are also an approved CBSA inspection facility and have obtained several certifications which include Firearms and Liquor licenses.

We are looking for a highly motivated, hard working and dedicated Warehouse Sales Associate to join the team.

We are seeking an ambitious, progressive and influential Sales rep with a proven successful track record in the transportation Industry. Ideally you will have a book of business to bring with you.

This position will be responsible for generating new business opportunities in final mile logistics and warehousing; handling complex sales inquiries; completing necessary reports and generating sales revenue to meet sales targets.


  • A minimum of (2) years of relevant experience in the final mile warehousing and transportation and warehousing industry, plus a broad knowledge of the transportation industry including shipping and trucking logistics, supplemented with business/sales/management courses or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
  • Experience in all aspects of sales, including growth strategies, distribution channel management, account development, and business planning. Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices and techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close sales while maintaining established sales quotas.
  • Solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and team building skills.
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and industry tracking software and communications systems.
  • Proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, integrity and accountability.
  • Well-established sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution and people management skills.
  • Proven ability to plan, prioritize and execute in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tact, diplomacy, flexibility, listening and persuasion skills.
  • Strong verbal, written and meeting related communication skills.
  • Ability to use sound judgment and make independent decisions.
