Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to lead our sales team in the residential sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations and sales within industries such as flooring, HVAC, windows, roofing, solar, and pest control. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to drive efficiency, optimize processes, and enhance team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry best practices.
    • Analyze and improve operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution:
    • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute effective sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
    • Monitor sales performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with marketing, customer service, and field operations to ensure a seamless customer experience.
    • Communicate effectively with upper management regarding operational and sales performance.
  • Market Knowledge:
    • Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape, leveraging insights to enhance business strategies.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and partners in the residential operations sector.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an operations management role, preferably within residential sales and operations.
  • Strong knowledge of industry-specific products (floors, HVAC, windows, roofing, solar, pest control).
  • Demonstrates success in sales leadership and team development.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse teams and clients.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
