Salesforce Business Technology (BT) is seeking a Change Lead / Senior Analyst to join our M&A Integration Experience team. Our team is a customer-centric organization focused on creating a positive and seamless technology integration journey for our acquired employees. We are responsible for coordinating all Business Technology touchpoints with acquired employees in a cohesive and strategic manner, to deliver the best possible integration experience.

    • A Senior Change Analyst applicant should bring 2-3 years of applied change management, communications, and/or training experience in management consulting or industry.

    • A Change Lead applicant should bring 4+ years of applied change management, communications, and/or training experience in management consulting or industry.

At Salesforce, Mergers and Acquisitions play an important role in fueling growth and innovation. Our team is hiring to meet the increasing demands to efficiently onboard newly acquired employees into our technology landscape.

This position will lead end-to-end planning and execution of high complexity change management programs to address the impacts of acquired employee technology integration. This role requires significant collaboration with cross-functional teams across Salesforce and the acquired business. They should be capable of managing small teams of people to deliver the change management solution and use influence to forge strong partnerships, ensuring positive outcomes for our acquired employees.

Here’s what the Change Lead will be doing:

  • Work with our BT stakeholders to conduct change impact assessments documenting how technology changes will impact acquired employees in the areas of laptop and mobile phone onboarding, collaboration tools adoption, apps & services migrations, and security updates

  • Synthesize change impacts into holistic change management plans to create a positive employee experience, including stakeholder engagement, communications, and training materials

  • Work with our BT M&A communications team to develop beautiful, quality training materials and communications to help onboard acquired employees to Salesforce tools and technology

  • Manage employee technology onboarding programs for timely technology adoption by acquired employees

  • Work with cross-functional enablement partners to streamline employee communications and engagement activities and minimize disruption for acquired employees

  • Manage the successful execution of end-to-end change management programs, applying strong project management skills to identify and mitigate risks/issues as they arise

  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to our change management methodology, playbook, and toolkit

  • Collect and synthesize feedback from stakeholders and adoption/engagement metrics to support BT employee experience benchmarking and continuous improvement

Here’s what we’re seeking:

  • Change Management Expertise: Demonstrated experience executing core components of change management programs, including communications, training, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Project and Program Management Skills: Proven track record of delivering change management programs for complex, enterprise-wide, and transformational technology initiatives. Effective in making sound business decisions, flexing/adapting approach, and being proactive. Ability to work well under deadlines and juggle multiple priorities. Strong time management skills.

  • M&A Experience: Basic understanding of the acquisition lifecycle, integration planning, and assessing impacts to people/process/technology.

  • Technology Fluency: Proven ability to thrive in technical environments. Ability to quickly grasp technical information across a variety of disciplines.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Able to articulate ideas clearly and succinctly in a variety of settings and styles. Build trusting relationships, credibility, and use strong communication and influencing skills to partner effectively with stakeholders to improve decision-making and business outcomes.

  • Demonstrates the Salesforce values of Trust, Customer Success, Innovation, and Equality

Other skills and requirements:

  • Senior Change Analyst: 2 - 3 years experience in consulting, Corporate Development, or Business Technology (IT)

  • Change Lead: 4+ years experience in consulting, Corporate Development, or Business Technology (IT)

  • Four year undergraduate degree or direct relevant experience

  • Strong technology background with working knowledge of Salesforce’s preferred collaboration platforms (Google Suite, Chatter, Quip, Smartsheet, Slack, Tableau)

  • Experience with video/training development (Camtasia) preferred

  • Salesforce.com organization and product knowledge preferred
