Sales Operations Specialist
Worksite Location: Onsite in Chandler, AZ - 4 days a week hybrid schedule
Job Summary:
The Sales Operations Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the sales team within the utility solar industry. This position is responsible for analyzing sales data, providing technical support to the sales team and customers, optimizing processes, and providing actionable insights to enhance sales performance and drive revenue growth.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation of technical quotations based on customer requirements.
- Ensure quotations are accurate, competitive, and aligned with company standards and pricing strategies.
- Work closely with the sales team to identify customer needs, develop tailored solutions, and close sales opportunities.
- Provide technical knowledge of solar tracker systems, and solutions to support the sales team and address customer inquiries.
- Participate in customer meetings and presentations to showcase technical capabilities and product advantages.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their technical questions and providing ongoing support.
- Analyze sales metrics and performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide insights into sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
- Collaborate with the sales team to streamline sales processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Assist the sales team with tools and resources needed for effective selling, including CRM management and sales enablement materials.
- Provide training and support for sales tools and technology to ensure adoption and effectiveness.
- Work closely with engineering, marketing, finance, and operations teams to align sales initiatives with broader business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in sales operations, deal desk activities, or financial analysis, preferably in the utility solar or renewable energy industry.
- 2+ years working experience with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Salesforce and SAP
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
