Job Title: Director of Sales

Division: Sales

Reports to: Owner

Compensation: $115,00-$125,000 Annual Base Salary

Bonus Potential: Up to $50k per year

Job Overview

The primary responsibility of the Director of Sales is to profitably grow sales and achieve customer satisfaction. They must collaborate with all departments to improve existing customer relations, build new customer relationships and drive efficiencies. The Director of Sales is responsible for managing sales performance, managing third party partnerships with sales and marketing partners, direct selling, developing customer relationships and supporting the sales team. This is an in-office position.

Summary of key responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Ø Identifying prospects and acquiring new clients.

Ø Retention of existing clients.

Ø Achieving revenue growth from existing client base.

Ø Development of Sales Strategies & Initiatives.

Ø Execution of Sales Initiatives.

Ø Controlling Sales Expenses.

Ø Developing, Monitoring, and Holding Accountable Performance Standards for staff and 3rd party partners.

Ø Measuring and monitoring sales performance and making necessary adjustments to sales tactics to drive sales growth.

Ø Measuring and monitoring profit margins.

Ø Improving profit margins.

Ø Management of Sales Staff and their performance.

Ø Coaching & mentoring the sales team through inspirational leadership.

Ø Development of the Sales Staff.

Ø Achieving Multi-Channel sales targets including B2B/B2C, Amazon & BVO website.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 5+ years Sales Management experience preferred
  • Experience with B2B and online sales preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field of study preferred
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, self-directed environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and familiarity with Quickbooks and food safety & quality management platforms
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Strong decision making, problem-solving and creative thinking skills

Physical requirements:

  • Constant sitting, standing and walking
  • Occasional stooping/kneeling
  • Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying 40 lb.

Performance measurements:

  • Yearly sales quota achievement
  • Yearly Gross Profit goal achievement

FLSA Status: Exempt
