Job Description

BrandEra is a boutique marketing agency that has, among other things: bright ideas, brains, and a bold personality. Besides providing our clients with marketing and PR expertise, we also supply them with enthusiasm for their own dreams and goals. We are seeking an account executive to court new business and manage existing client relationships. You will be paired with an agency principal to learn our business and will soon be the liaison between several of our key clients and the BrandEra creative team.

The right candidate for BrandEra must love working with new people, networking and demonstrate a passion for marketing.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify and land new business opportunities for the agency
  • Team sell with agency principal
  • Manage project timelines, campaign execution and budgets
  • Facilitate the design and production process of client marketing materials and advertising placements
  • Manage the response to RFPs and presentations on behalf of the agency
  • Respond promptly and timely to all client needs
  • Monitor and report on ongoing campaigns
  • Apply additional expertise to your role (social media, email marketing, etc.)
  • Provide best marketing practices to clients

Required Skills

  • Be a quick learner and self-starter
  • Be passionate about client engagement
  • Enjoy and feel comfortable making calls to court new business
  • Handle detailed project management and consensus building, from strategy to execution
  • Have the confidence and professionalism to represent BrandEra well with potential and existing clients
  • Enjoy collaboration and teamwork to develop strategic plans and evaluate client needs
  • Manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrate strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Show composure to work under pressure, often on tight timelines

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising or related discipline
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Demonstrated expertise selling
  • Ability to work evenings/weekends on a limited basis
  • Prior work in an agency setting is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $47,750.00 per year
