Are you a highly motivated and forward thinking professional with a passion for driving business growth? We are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead our US sales initiatives. This role will focus on identifying, evaluating, and securing new business opportunities while developing strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Design and document comprehensive sales & account development plans.
- Engage with customers to gather insights that will guide the Company in adding value to our operations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop value added solutions for customers, ensuring alignment.
- Create and deliver engaging sales presentations tailored to customer needs and expectations.
- Present the Company’s value propositions to maximise conversion prospects.
- Facilitate and support contract negotiations to achieve win-win outcomes for both the Company and our customers.
- Ensure excellent customer experience through ongoing collaboration with colleagues.
- Plan, implement, and report on sales activities and progress.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM tools.
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Engineering or other related subject area required.
- Industry experience in business development/ sales, within the Engineering/ Manufacturing/ Semiconductor Industry.
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
- Self-starter with high levels of self-motivation and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in planning and reporting on sales activities.
- Competence in the use of all MS Office packages as well as CRM experience. Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is desirable.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly to key semiconductor activity hubs across the US as well as occasional travel to our EU sites.
