Job Description


The Jr. Account Manager manages the processing of customer returns, both warranty and non-warranty, through normal production operations and help to maintain company KPI’s for turn-around. They also acts as the liaison between the customer, Account Managers and various internal departments to ensure a seamless customer experience from quote to delivery. The Jr. Account Manager is a key member of the team delivering on our commitment to customer and partner satisfaction while improving our internal operational workflows and communication.

Essential Functions

  • Manage full cycle customer returned materials, warranty and non-warranty
  • Coordinate with customer, as required, to resolve issues related to documentation, rework, backlog and customer PO reconciliation.
  • Inform customer account managers of delays; material, production, etc.
  • Effectively use ERP system to maintain customer database, monitor project activity and generate reports
  • Accurately input data into various software systems and maintain customer account information
  • Process sales orders in ERP system
  • Assist with quoting and contract review process
  • Resolve receiving and shipping problems and work with accounting on invoicing/credit memo issues
  • Other administrative duties as assigned by account managers

Education, Experience, and Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of proven work experience in manufacturing environment, material planning or expediter, and/or customer service
  • Experience in contract manufacturing preferred
  • Capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and managing time efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well independently and in a dynamic team environment, and interface well with many individuals
  • Must interact effectively with all levels of management and staff, internally and externally
  • Highly proficient computer skills and strong understanding of ERP systems, Epicor a plus.
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Ability to grow into an account manager
