As a Senior Solution Engineer, you will be responsible for providing presales strategic/technical/functional support to prospective clients and customers in a variety of industries. You will develop and deliver high-quality Oracle presentations and software demonstrations removing all technical objections. You will present and articulate Oracle's value, driven advantages, and product benefits with artistry and clear business impact. Youâ€™ll craft, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include sophisticated product concepts, strategic direction, and 3rd party complimentary products when needed becoming trusted advisors to our customers for how to tackle their challenges and achieve a return on their investment.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have
- A passion for strategy, execution, learning, and leadership in Customer Experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and prior experience.
- Ability to discuss key industry issues, overall CX solutions, and technical aspects that impact business value with multiple levels (C-Level to Functional Managers and IT).
- 5+ years previous customer-facing software presentation roles in Sales, Service and related CX solutions such as Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or Microsoft.
- A history of selling to diverse leaders in multiple departments including Sales, Service, IT, and Operations.
- Digital selling experience preferred.
- Experience in various industries, including High Tech & Industrial Manufacturing.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 50% of the time).

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.
As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.
Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 5 years relevant computer applications or database/tools. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed. BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.
Partners with customers, sales, engineering and product teams to design, demonstrate and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that address customer business problems. Drives Oracle Cloud customer consumption by accelerating the adoption of Oracle cloud services including discovery, design and deployment.
Responsible for participating in customer engagements to collaboratively design and implement solutions. May work directly with customers to gather requirements, develop architectures and translates business needs into solutions. Implements solutions and ensures successful deployments through code development and scripting. Displays product/application understanding through more customized presentation demonstrations to customers and at conferences and events. Supports customer from Proof of Concept (POC) through production deployment of services via resource configuration, planning, and customer education/training. Creates and distributes technical assets (white papers, solution code, blog posts, and video demonstrations). Serves as a technical point of contact for customers and sales on technical cloud solutions and customer success. Further builds business and technical acumen.
Minimum qualifications include: 5 years experience with computer applications and tools required. Ability to travel 25% international and domestic.
Preferred but not required qualifications include: Bachelor of Science-level university degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering from accredited university; and/or relevant 5 years technical experience. Expertise in system and application design; Written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; Needs analysis, positioning, and business justification; Solving technical problems with customers in technical environments.
