Commercial Business Development Representative

As a Commercial Business Development Representative, you will develop long lasting business relationships and partnerships with commercial property managers, commercial realtors, insurance agents/adjusters and others who work with commercial properties while actively promoting Accent Property Restoration’s services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and initiate contact with target customers such as insurance agents, plumbers, realtors, and commercial property management companies
  • Continue prospecting; cold calling, following-up on leads and referrals
  • Drive sales through pre-call planning, post-call analysis, and follow-up
  • Create reports of prospective leads and upcoming sales
  • Analyze and implement business development opportunities and strategies
  • Travel daily, majority of time is spent on outside sales calls, may be required to work occasional evenings and weekends for events
  • Make weekly presentations to small groups
  • Actively participate and network in industry-related trade organizations promoting the company’s services
  • Reinforce relationships with new and existing customers

Required Skills/ Experience:

  • 3 or more years of relevant sales experience
  • Excellent sales and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Proficiency using computers, MS Office, CRM software. BuilderTrend is a plus
  • Must be able to pass a background check, have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Note – due to our large service area, which covers Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee, Washington and Racine counties, a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for this position. Employees must be able to get to and from our office and to different job sites through the day. In addition, for a company vehicle to be assigned, employees must have a clean driving record.

Preferred Skills/ Experience:

  • Must be comfortable making cold calls and dealing with customers face to face, while demonstrating good listening skills, poise, tact, and diplomacy
  • Initiative in solving problems

  • Demonstrated success selling to middle and senior level executives

  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail

Salary and Benefits:

  • Base salary $40,000+/year, Depending on Experience

Key Accountabilities  * Create customer success plans to drive growth for each account  * Support solution design and technical implementation of current desired integrations as outlined in the customer success plan. * Monitor user adoption and product utilization and create targeted programs to increase engagement and support the agency's change management process. * Build strong relationships between the Miovision product and support teams to ensure continuous resolution of ongoing operational issues as well as product deficiencies that may come up.  * Participate in regular support and health checks to ensure accounts are continuing to derive value from our solutions * Support software renewal and upselling activities  Skills/Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalency or achievement of recognized professional level * 5+ years of technical experience; must understand network products * Ability to travel internationally, providing on-site consulting work to clients * Ability to manage multiple projects utilizing strong planning and organizational skills * Experience with general consulting skills that include team facilitation, business case development, strong business analysis skills, process mapping and process redesign * Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management and support * Analytical nature with the ability to solve complex business issues * Basic understanding of product development and engineering processes.  We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
