As a Pre-Sales Manager, you will play a key role in helping our sales team deliver a world class experience by documenting customer’s requirements effectively and providing quick turnarounds in effort to maximize on customers success. The Pre-Sales manager is self-motivated and has a passion for developing and optimizing a process to positively impact the sales cycle. As part of the Pre-Sales team, you will work closely across various verticals such as Operations, Sales and Marketing, Customer Success and Finance to meet deadlines and enable structure.

In this role, you will report to our Sales and Marketing leader and play an important role in helping our current and potential customers through the sales cycle from start to finish.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and own the Pre-Sales processes for coordinating and executing Pre-Sales deliverables.
    • Deliverables include:
  • The delivery of customer demonstrations for managed service offerings
  • Development of high-level customer solutions / engagements and pricing
  • Development of Statement of Work (SOW) agreements
  • Development of customer proposals, including Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI) requests
    • Coordinate the proposals/SOWs from beginning to end; work well with a variety of teams (technical and non-technical) to track opportunity progress according to the defined process. Log and track requests in presales reporting and tracking systems.
    • Identify and assign Operations resources to provide input on qualified proposals or Statement of Works (SOW), develop project estimates, and attend scheduled technical meetings or scoping calls
    • Review, edit, and finalize all Pre-Sales deliverables
    • Evaluate, manage and prioritize presales opportunities
    • Develop and augment the presales process to provide customers with accurate timelines and outcomes
  • Create/augment a variety of documents for customer/sales representative opportunities (i.e. RFP, SOW, PCR, Proposal, Non-Disclosure Agreement, Master Service Agreement, etc.)
  • Liaise with the Sales and Operations teams to fulfill customer pre-sales needs
  • Develop and maintain a library of standard, dependable technical responses required for delivering proposals through the Loopio platform
  • Create, maintain, and update document templates, as well as internal and external process documents
  • Ensure qualified proposals meet all requirements from the organization and customers’ needs, and ensure that responses are complete and quality-checked before submitting
  • Hire and train other members as you build out the PreSales team
  • Provide daily and/or weekly updates on the status of approved and active proposals and other sales requests, and track all documents and proposal status’ through Outlook, CRM - Dynamics, SharePoint, and OneDrive
  • Provide presales support, including but not limited to:
  • Continuously stay informed of service offerings, service roadmaps and ongoing service enhancements in order to maintain accurate information in all customer-facing documents
  • Spend cycles working with the Operations team to understand operational processes, procedures, and technologies used to deliver services


  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Developing and managing a presales department would be an asset
  • Solution-oriented analytical skills
  • Well-versed with Microsoft Office
  • Undertstand Microsoft Dynamics software (CRM) is an asset
  • Ability to work well with others and liaise between a variety of teams
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong background in customer service and communications required
  • Experience in service delivery, including the development of proposals, RFx responses, master service and statement of works agreements
  • Ability to work with internal teams, external customers and vendors in a professional manner
  • Strong sense of ownership and teamwork
  • Strong ability to communicate and document clearly and effectively
  • Ability to develop and follow processes and guidelines
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
