What You Will Be Doing

As the Director of Sales you will be overseeing our greater DC and Baltimore regions while overseeing high-performing sales teams made up of sales reps, sales engineers, AE's, and estimators. This division is the sole distributor of the Automated Logic product line for the MD, DC, and Northern VA regions so strong relationships with contractors, GCs, and engineers is highly valued.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify opportunities and develop strategies to continue to growth
  • Lead a team of sales and estimating professionals who sell products and tailored solutions
  • Provide coaching to develop cross selling skills and business development strategies
  • Develop training programs, utilize vendor expertise, and deliver educational content to sales team
  • Actively participate in writing sales proposals and developing business as necessary
  • Based on market trends, recommend and implement a profitable long-term sales growth strategy
  • Work to develop business in line with divisions growth objectives

What You Need for this Position

MUST HAVE:
  • BS in related field OR equivalent professional experience
  • 8+ years of sales experience ideally within the BAS/BMS/HVAC Controls space
  • 3+ years of high-level sales management and leadership experience
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems

NICE TO HAVE:
  • Knowledge of Automated Logic architecture and product lines
  • Divisional/Regional management experience
  • Verticals: Healthcare, Datacenters, higher education, government
