Job Summary:

Under general direction of company leadership, The Project Sales Representative specialized in concrete cutting and coring and is responsible for generating business and closing sales. This individual will utilize their knowledge and contacts in the construction industry to actively seek out new business opportunities and build strong relationships with clients while exuding keen interpersonal skills and an exceptional customer service mindset.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Ambassador: Embody the organization’s desired identity and forge lasting connections with both existing and new customers.
  • Sales Prospecting: Identify and develop a pipeline of potential clients within the construction, demolition, and infrastructure industries through networking, cold calling, site visits, and attending industry events.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their specific needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Product/Service Communication: Effectively use exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills to educate prospective clients regarding the organization’s products and services.
  • Proposal Development: Create detailed proposals, including pricing, project timelines, and service offerings.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Project Management: Oversee the sales process from initial contact to contract execution, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for the client.
  • Sales Closing: Keep up to date with professional sales techniques to secure new business and successfully close contracts.
  • Market Analysis: Deeply understand industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities and potential changes in current ones.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with company leadership and other team members to align sales efforts with company goals and objectives. Share insight and feedback to improve overall business performance and drive revenue growth.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and post-sale, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and respectfully.
  • Miscellaneous: Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably within the construction or related industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of concrete cutting and coring techniques and equipment.
  • Existing contacts within the construction industry that can be leveraged.
  • Experience in project management or construction management.
