Account Management Professional (Customer Experience Manager)

Job Description:

Batory Foods, a growing and well established distribution company located in Rosemont, IL is actively seeking a detail-oriented Account Management professional with the ability to handle a high volume of inquiries, orders, and service requests from both customers and internal partners. In this role, you will manage the entire customer order process from start to finish – ensuring that customers assigned to your portfolio, as well as your internal partners, receive an effortless experience.

Our customers are generally repetitive and ongoing manufacturing companies, so you will build a working relationship with them as well as our internal Sales Team that sell to those customers. In many cases, you will be the “face” of the company to our customers. You will proactively manage a portfolio of customer accounts independently. This is not a call center environment.

Critical thinking, excellent problem solving, and resiliency in the face of daily customer and internal challenges are integral parts of success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter, manage, and facilitate a high volume of multi-step orders and act as the principal party responsible for proper execution of those orders.
  • Work within at least four different computer programs to fully execute each necessary step of the order process.
  • Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound communications (calls, emails, chats, etc.) with both customers and internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Partner with other areas (sales, credit, purchasing, inventory, logistics, warehouse, and accounting) to ensure customer requests and orders are properly executed and completed.
  • Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, handle complaints, troubleshoot problems, and provide solutions and/or alternatives.
  • Proactively follow-up to ensure that your customers’ and internal partners’ needs are met.
  • Troubleshoot and use critical thinking to resolve complicated issues on a daily basis.
  • Support other team members when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Formal Training:

  • Degree in Business or Supply Chain, or 3+ years equivalent experience, preferred.
  • Proven experience in jobs requiring organization, critical thinking, and problem solving.
  • Proficient in MS office / data entry / Intermediate Excel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
