POSITION SNAPSHOT: Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer (Applications Focused) to work with their Federal / DOD clients utilizing advanced manufacturing technologies to produce metal components. The knowledge and experience could be from Traditional or Additive Manufacturing. You are the subject matter expert on identifying and qualifying applications. Having industry experience on metal and how it behaves is key. You should understand the development requirements as well. Since you could very likely be communicating with "non-technical individuals", it is imperative that you can communicate about highly advanced technologies intelligently within your respective audience with clarity and understanding. This role is heavy customer facing. You will also work closely with the R&D team on a regular basis and be very hands on. The ideal candidate will be flexible, interested in forging their own path, accepting of change and thrive on bringing order to chaos. This role is a new profile for this early start up...what could you do with it?
Projected Base Salary Range is $160K - $175K + Commissions. Relocation assistance is a consideration as well.
