Assignment Details
    The Business Development Rep- Add on Services is responsible for supporting the inside Retention sales and Business Development sales positions. This position will support the department's sales goals for tax professional and primarily focused promoting add on services such as Refund Transfer, Protection Plus, TaxDome, Client Xchange to company Professional customers. This person in this role also participates in Voice of the Customer, including new customer onboarding, and completing in-depth customer phone interviews.
Job Description
    To perform the job successfully, the individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily.
    Support the Business Development and Retention Sales representatives.
    Promote and sell add on services to assigned territory.
    Assist in Training and Onboarding of new clients.
    Follow up with existing customers to add or help increase use of attached products.
    Assist in overall sales efforts and goals for the department.
    Subject matter expert on various add on products to the professional tax software.
    Assist with reporting and documentation in support of the sales team.
    Maintain solid knowledge of products and service offering.
    Stay abreast of industry trends, opportunities and challenges.

    The flow of work requires focused, detailed attention and keying at a computer monitor.
    The job is typically performed under comfortable working conditions; any disagreeable elements are generally absent during normal performance of the job.

    This job role participates in an active production support rotation, so on-call responsibilities would be one week in every three.

    Sales and Marketing - Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
    This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
    English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
    Spanish fluency a plus.
    Administration and Management - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
    Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
    This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
    Communications and Media - Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods.
    This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience
    2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the tax software industry specializing in Add on products.
    B2B markets or financial industry, with a combination of tele sales, in person sales and zoom presentation experience a plus.
    Proven track record of customer service excellence and exceeding sales goals.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Ability to manage multiple projects to different audiences and track status at different stages in the sales process.
    Experience with contact and/or customer relationship management systems and the use of sales metrics to measure success.
    Capable of managing multiple projects at various stages of completion and quickly shift priorities as needed.
    Team-oriented with strong work ethic focused on achieving goals, comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
Shift:
    Monday Through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
