Job Description
Ubiquity is looking for a skilled Sales Development Representative (SDR) to identify and qualify potential customers who would benefit from our products and services. As the initial point of contact with prospects, the ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of the sales process, excel at researching leads, initiating new relationships, and setting the stage for successful sales closures. The SDR should be a quick learner with strong communication skills, capable of presenting our offerings in a compelling and persuasive manner.
Responsibilities:
Proactively identify and engage potential customers through outbound calling, emailing, and social media outreach.
Qualify leads from marketing campaigns and other sources to identify sales-ready opportunities.
Utilize analytics tools and intent data to assess lead quality, prioritize outreach, and tailor messaging to align with pain points and current interests.
Set up meetings or calls between potential customers and retirement plan consultants.
Maintain and update accurate records of all lead interactions and activities in the CRM system.
Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective lead generation strategies.
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive products.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified leads and appointments.
Provide feedback to the marketing team on the quality of leads and effectiveness of campaigns.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Previous experience(3-5 years) in sales and SDR experience a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Self-motivated, driven, and eager to learn.
Familiarity with CRM software, such as Salesforce or HubSpot, is a plus.
Understanding of the sales process and the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
Effectively use tools like ZoomInfo, chat-based platforms, Chorus, and other sales enablement technologies to identify, engage, and track potential customers.
Additional Information
This is a full-time, remote position with an annual base salary of $52-$62K plus variable compensation.
