Assist in executing business plan, goal setting, growth strategies and coaching for the Unit.
Grow Contribution to Profit (CTP) of the Unit’s Portfolio.
Meet or exceed annual sales, revenue, volume & new customer objectives for the Unit.
Build new relationships and deepen existing customer relationships by consistently following the Commercial Sales methodology. Ensure team follows the CSM consistently in their customer interactions.
Effectively use CARMA Sales and CARMA Credit – lead by example and hold the team accountable to do the same.
Meet or exceed Unit’s shadow portfolio goals; develop and actively manage a shadow portfolio and document in CARMA.
Ensure the team is cross-selling the full range of products to existing and new customers, as applicable to maximize revenue/profit and retention of relationships based on the risk profile of the customer.
Be the expert on pricing models and execute consistently with Business Banking goals
Manage the market to ensure the proper sales support and development of new and existing business relationships within the community.
Coach team members in assessing credit requests to determine risk and make appropriate recommendations to Analyst/Manager.
Commercial Credit for structuring the credit
Maintain full knowledge and understanding of our customers’ industry, products, finances and markets.
Understand the market for the business and products and maintain knowledge of designated market area.
Be actively involved in ensuring the unit meets or exceeds its CEI target. Deliver exceptional service at every interaction and execute on plans to continuously improve the customer experience.
Develop and maintain Centre of Influence (COI) strategies and relationships.
Demonstrate leadership as per the TDBG Guiding Principles and the Leadership Profile.
Embrace and promote a positive work environment that supports a diverse workforce and a positive employee experience using available tools and support (i.e. TD Pulse, P3, and Professional Development Plan).
Coach Commercial Banking team in meeting business development targets by recommending alternatives in structure or pricing to meet the needs of customers and to adhere to TD’s risk management policies and credit appetite.
