As the Partner Manager, you will help to develop and grow our Partner Programme, as well as manage existing partnerships and triage new ones to grow the Adaptavist footprint across a variety of platforms and ecosystems. You will be responsible for managing our more technical partnerships in the DevOps space working with companies like GitLab, Sonatype and CloudBees. You will also work with partners to develop joint value propositions to drive services and licensing opportunities or help push for building Apps.

What you'll be doing

    • Manage and grow relationships with strategic partners in the DevOps space
    • Negotiating contracts and growth plans with current and prospective partners
    • Proactively lead the joint partner planning process to develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones
    • Capture opportunities to partner, identifying existing opportunities and creating new ones that further the organization’s objectives
    • Manage day to day support and inquiries or referrals from our Strategic Partners
    • Be the voice of the partners within Adaptavist, communicate the value to Adaptavist of the partners to gain buy in from supporting teams from different departments
    • Working with the team to craft and implement joint go-to-market strategies to drive leads and awareness
    • Foster and support co-marketing strategies with partnersImplement, execute, and report on KPIs to assess the progress of development and growth with partners
    • Leverage data and performance analysis to assess the health of partner relationships and determine strategic churn
    • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and Professional Services, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations
    • Develop processes and procedures to optimize partner management efforts and ensure sales goals are achieved

What we're looking for

    • Experience working in the SaaS space in a relationship-oriented role with partners (account management, partnerships, business development, etc.)
    • Experience working within partner ecosystems and ability to identify opportunities
    • Experience managing complex stakeholder engagement
    • Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and interpersonal skills
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication, listening, and presentation skills
    • Ability to solve business problems and work with both technical and non-technical audiences
    • Experience developing, implementing and managing KPIs
    • Able to contextualizes partner programme strategy in relation to the long term goals of other internal teams and the business as a whole
    • Focuses on solutions instead of dwelling on challenges or problems
    • Embraces failure as a learning opportunity

A few nice to haves

    • Familiarity with Atlassian Jira and Confluence as an end-user
    • Understanding of the DevOps strategic landscape
    • Experience working with a global and/or culturally diverse team across a complex matrix environment
    • Experience in creating or growing a partner programme.
