ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Create and implement effective sales strategies tailored to each property's market conditions and goals.
- Actively seek and secure new corporate and group business to drive occupancy and revenue.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Participates in sales calls and blitz's with GM to acquire new business and/or close on business.
- Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).
- Prepare reports on sales activity and results to senior management.
- Conduct site tours for prospective clients to showcase hotel facilities and services, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Achieve weekly sales goals by focusing on prospecting and conducting outside sales calls.
- Train and onboard new sales team members, offering support and guidance to enhance their performance and productivity.
- Additional tasks assigned by Regional Director.
- Preferably 1+ year of similar experience in Hotel Sales.
- Ability to work independently and be self-driven.
- Candidate must live in the Mountain or Pacific Time Zone.
- Must possess strategic account management, closing, and negotiating skills.
- Sales Tracking System (STS, Delphi) proficiency preferred.
- Experience in Marriott, Hilton and IHG business sales applications strongly preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Flexibility to travel frequently.
- Education Preferred of Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college, or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
