Position Summary

The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for maintaining daily operations of the extraction lab, including but not limited to overseeing a professional team that is passionate about quality standards. The Manufacturing Manager helps facilitate weekly staff communication of staffing schedule, production schedules, product information and needs, supplies list, inventory analytics, etc. The Manufacturing Manager works the key team members to maintain accurate inventory tracking and storage, proficiently fulfill internal and external orders, while upholding all regulation and compliance standards in the State of Alaska. The Manufacturing manager is responsible for coordinating with sales leadership to ensure customer satisfaction and sales production, as well as accurate wholesale order fulfillment. The Manufacturing Manager holds the team accountable for proper policies and procedures, executes operational and planned objectives to maximize product worth, and maintains standards for optimal facility maintenance and cleanliness. The Lab Manager works closely with all the other department heads to organize efforts and allocate resources effectively.

Bachelor's Degree Required
5 Years of Relevant Management and Job Experience Required

*** Job hours are mostly Monday-Friday 8 am-4:30 pm but some weekend time is needed on occasion/depending on needs***

Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and motivate team to increase organizational efficiency and effectiveness. Set objectives, determine resources needed, communicate with employees, and create strategies to reach objectives.

Manage human capital by guiding the development, the maintenance, and the allocation of labor to obtain department goals. Resolve conflicts, manage change, measure performance, and take necessary action to improve performance.

Responsible for the developing and implementing operational rules, regulations, policies and procedures with an emphasis of Inventory Control and knowledge.

Daily oversight and weekly reconciliations of Inventories, includes METRC comparisons and physical counts, with heavy emphasis towards Compliance and implementation of procedures to streamline the
Inventory Control process.

Ensure wholesale goals are being met with product availablity and excellent sales and customer support. Provide high level oversight to wholesale needs, while ensuring retail requirements are being met.

Coordinate with production team(s) to strategize and analyze inventory needs and popularity for both internal and external distribution. Maintain set inventory goals and plan marketing events to turnover inventory and increase consumer demand.

Ensure ordering and correct inventory of all products to meet sales needs. Work with Account Manager(s) to maximize product profitability and maintain customer satisfaction. Meet with and negotiate with vendors on pricing and promotions.

Oversee the organizational tasks associated with the extraction lab including but not limited to employee, production and packaging schedules, inventory reconciliations, compliant labeling, invoicing, bill pay, office management, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
