Equivalent Experience

Customer Support Specialist - Vancouver - Full Time 40 hours per week.
Seeking Customer Support specialists for a National Client based out Vancouver.
These agents are required to support customers with any inquiries related to internet/phone products. Work with multiple monitors, will troubleshoot customer problems online, book technicians if needed. they can reboot customer hardware.
Some elements of retention as these calls may come to them. Also - move conversations to upselling contract add ons - ie faster internet, better cable package, etc. No commission in this role.
Answering inbound 100%.

Fast paced environment, 5-10 seconds between calls. Calls vary in length and complexity typically 15-20 mins but could run up to an hour. Average 4 calls per hour.
Multitasking is crucial for success in this role.
Using MS Office to communicate with the team and log notes.
  • Willingness to WFH and return to office in the future as required.
  • 1 years Customer Service experience - retail, call center, hospitality,
  • Strong command of English written/spoken.
  • Must pass crim/credit check
  • Must have WFH capabilities - Must be able to hardwire into internet.
  • Full Schedule Availability
  • Education in telecom.
  • Starbucks, skip the dishes, or Airline employees have had great success.
  • Tenure and growth in previous roles.
  • Passion for CS

Hours of operation 7 days per week
7am - 12am (midnight)
Schedules are distributed 6 weeks in advance.
Culture of support and leadership. One on ones, team huddles, development events etc.
Shifts are set on a three month basis. Tenure, performance are considered when making schedule.
Team is very close - lots of extra curricular activities.
Timeline to promo - could be as soon as 4-6 months based on performance.
