If you love solving puzzles, navigating negotiations, learning about people, and are one of the most charismatic or conversational people in the room, then apply. Account Executives develop genuine relationships with prospects, understand customer needs, and sell strategically to those needs. We’re looking for reps with something to prove, and the grit to hit their quotas consistently.

At Eddy, we value ability, talent, and sustained scrappiness more than years of experience or a degree. We would traditionally assign 2-5 years of Software or B2B closing experience for this role.

What you’ll do:

  • Successfully close new business through transactional and trust building selling for small to large accounts
  • Master the ability to evangelize the Eddy story, and demo the product to customer pain points
  • Mentor new team members, develop your assigned Sales Development Representatives
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly quotas
  • Align Eddy solutions with prospect business objectives/needs
  • Collaborate effectively with the Client Success, Marketing, and Payroll team and others to drive new business
  • Proactively research industry and the technology landscape to ensure you are a trusted resource to prospects and customers
What you need to get the job done: (minimum qualifications)

  • Humble, coachable, high interpersonal skills, creative sales messaging skills. Experience being in the top 5% sellers relative to peers in previous roles
  • Demonstrated experience and success in a prospecting and closing sales role
  • Consistent over-achievement in past positions
  • Cold-calling/door knocking experience
  • Ability to confidently and effectively speak with prospects of all levels (including CEO’s & VPs)
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Highly organized and strong time management skills
  • Ability to work in fast paced, changing sales environment with minimal direction
  • Self-driven, motivated and results oriented A desire to have a successful career in sales

What will make you really stand out (preferred qualifications)

  • 4-year degree preferred but NOT required.
  • 3-5 years B2B software sales experience or phone sales
  • Proven success in penetrating new markets, generating new partnerships, and closing new business
  • Proven prospecting and sales cycle management skills for smb and mid market deals
