Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Marine)
  • Minimum 10 years in the Marine (Shipyard or US Navy) industry with Sales experience
  • Federal Background Knowledge (Preferred)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time (Domestic and International)
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Your responsibilities

  • Leads the development and execution of market and account plans to ensure achievement of assigned business goals.
  • Guide’s business development within assigned key accounts and/or markets.
  • Develops relationship and sponsorship with key decision-makers at key shipyards, owner/operators and naval architects.
  • Leads sales teams on key, must-win opportunities to develop sales strategy, technical solution, and proposals.
  • Demonstrates Knowledge of Marine market with contacts at shipyards, owner’s operator and naval architects on the US West Coast and Vancouver, Canada.
  • Demonstrates knowledge in Marine electrical, automation and propulsion applications and solutions.
