Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Sales to lead our sales team and drive growth in the cabinet industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cabinet sales, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the cabinet industry.
- Build, lead, manage, and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team objectives.
- Implement growth strategies that exceeds Colorado permit growth
- Pricing strategies that maximize company profitability
- Continuous Improvement plans to reduce re-work due to upfront sales and design process
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including builders, contractors, designers, and architects.
- Drive customer reviews highlighting positive experience with Sales
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with company goals and product offerings.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed to improve results
- Stay current with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies and tactics.
- Oversee the cabinet design and pricing process, including the use of Cabinet Vision software.
- Ensure the showroom is updated, well-organized, clean, and effectively showcases our cabinet products.
- Develop and implement training programs for the sales team on product knowledge, design software, and sales techniques.
- Drive marketing plans, budget, and execution.
- Own New Product Development Process funnel and collect market and team data for product line additions and changes.
- Own and improve Sales & Design score card metrics and compensation plans.
- Manage company pipeline and forecast future orders to set company cadence.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in sales leadership within the cabinet or related home improvement or commercial industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to discuss the aesthetic design value of a product offering.
- Strong knowledge of cabinet design, trends, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
