Join Apple’s Cloud network Infrastructure team as a site reliability engineer manager to help support and scale cloud services. The Apple Networking team builds software-defined cloud network infrastructure as a part of Apple Cloud. Our infrastructure is a critical foundation in delivering Apple’s services (such as iCloud, iTunes, Siri, Maps) to billions of customers. We are a fast paced organization where drive and collaboration are the keys to success. Teams across Apple rely critically on us for infrastructure that help them build services that scale globally, are highly available, and “just work”. As a Cloud Operations Manager you will be responsible for the cloud network service operation to maintain high availability, scale and resilience. The successful candidate is encouraged to be highly self-motivated with a passion for perfection, quality and detail in driving a talented cloud network operation team.
Description
In this role, you will be responsible for operation of production environments and lead the cloud network operation team in delivering an efficient and scalable operation that meets customer success criteria. Following are the key responsibilities - Drive incident management with goal of reducing incident resolution time - Act as the point of escalation for incidents and other customer impacting issues - Define and implement systematic process based on Runbooks and tools in delivering a sustainable operation operating a sophisticated infrastructure. - Drive post mortem and corrective and preventive actions to incident prevention. - Drive safe production infrastructure maintenance - Drive innovation on diagnostics, trouble shooting and root cause analysis - Ensures detailed documentation of incidents and analysis based reporting of key metrics related to operational success

Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
- Outstanding communication skills, interpersonal skills, analytical skills
- Experience with cloud technologies, network fundamentals, micro services architecture, and system programming
- Strong and consistent track record of leading large multi-functional projects
Preferred Qualifications
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience preferred
Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $252,400 and $378,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
