R&D Software Engineer
Job Description:

We're looking for a skilled programmer with experience with front and back end development to join our team of passionate, driven, fun-loving full stack developers. Do you like to tinker with new technologies, explore what's latest and greatest, and maybe even occasionally delve into hardware? Are you able to shift from that fun exploratory bent, to taking those insights and applying them to stable, scalable, secure production applications? If that ignites your passion, read on.

Specifically, we need you to have at least 5 years experience working with a back-end MVC-style framework in Node, .NET, Python or PHP. You should also have demonstrable knowledge of Angular/AngularJS, SQL, and NoSQL (and preferably 2 years experience working on Single Page Applications). It would be ideal if you have already begun to explore Machine Learning, AI, Deep Lens, and similar technologies. You should be excited at the thought of working on an enterprise web application, be passionate about learning new technologies and languages, and be a strong independent problem solver.

You'll benefit from working with a tight-knit cross-functional team with a consistent work pace and a focus on innovation. You will be driving innovation in one of our fastest growing product lines and must be capable of great communication across teams and job functions.

Required Experience

  • At least 5 years experience as a developer/software engineer.
  • Some experience with Angular, AngularJS, Vue, React, or a similar Single Page App FrontEnd Framework
  • At least 3 years experience with Node, Python, .NET, PHP, or another back-end language and a willingness to work with ANY language. At least 3 years experience with an MVC backend framework.
  • At least 3 years experience with an RDBMS such as MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, Sybase or similar.
  • CS/Math/Computer Engineering Degree OR a solid understanding of CS concepts including algorithms, design patterns, data structures, etc. obtained from work experience.

Job Type: Full-Time, exempt. Base salary, health benefits, 401K matching, and profit sharing.
