Clutter is an on-demand, technology start-up that is obsessed with servicing customers via a one-stop-shop for moving, storage, packing, and more. We need experienced,highly-motivated,highly-personable sales professionals to staff our retail stores within Walmarts and evangelize our brand, driveproduct and services sales, embody ourcustomer obsession andmentorour Retail Sales Associates. As we scale, successful Sales Consultants will have significant growth opportunities that could include developing at-scale training programs and/or increasing their people leadership scope.
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours). On a typical week, you will work 5 days including one weekend shift
Compensation: $24/hour, paid weekly + $1000 bonus paid in 2 installments after 30 & 90 days of employment!

Clutter is disrupting the $50B/year self-storage and moving industries through an end-to-end logistics and supply chain platform that enables us to offer consumers a much more convenient solution at price parity with the incumbents. Clutter recently launched a retail partnership with Walmart — Clutter has its own retail store space inside Walmarts where we operate a "Moving and Storage Center", to bring our one-stop-shop to brick-and-mortar. This is an exciting partnership for Clutter, with the potential to scale across Walmarts nationwide and dramatically grow revenue and brand awareness.
This role will be split between brand ambassadorship and sales of products and services (80%) and sales training of retail associates (20%). Sales Consultants will work in either one or two locations, depending on the store.
During sales shifts Sales Consultants will:
Pace your market with product and service sales of $125,000+ annually
Become highly knowledgeable about our customer and identify opportunities to improve our in-store sales techniques
Be the voice of the customer to surface new product and service opportunities to Clutter leadership
Perform all core retail operations (store opening/closing, merchandising checks, inventory checks, etc.
During training shifts Sales Consultants will:
Partner with our HQ team to perfect training materials through your on-the-ground experience
Work one-on-one with associates for onboarding, training, and continuous skill development
Uncover associate performance gaps and partner with Store Managers on the development and execution of action plans to improve performance
Sales Consultant Role Competencies:
Embody high standards and real accountability for your store(s), setting a gold standard for task ownership and sales performance for peers and more junior team members to model.
Take pride in professionalism by effectively representing Clutter to customers, giving candid, concise, and respectful feedback to peers and leadership, and consistently going above and beyond to achieve your goals.
