Scope of responsibility:
The Sales Engineer provides technical advice and support on low to mid-range elevator systems for new and existing installations. The Sales Engineer is the single point of contact for the field organization at the bid stage. They provide guidance on product feasibility, costing of custom features and product solutions. They drive the booking of projects by preparing them for proper execution. The Associate Sale Engineer conducts booking calls and meetings to ensure alignment of stakeholders regarding project scope, lead time, commercial requirements and material cost.
<> Single point of contact for the field organization during bid phase.
<> Ensure accuracy of material and engineering effort (hours) during technical review of bids.
<> Conduct timely technical reviews while considering product benefits, customer requirements and the commercial impact of proposed solutions.
<> Understand and drive pre-bid, bid and booking process.
<> Conduct calls with key stakeholders to drive accurate results.
<> Execute and drive the above tasks to achieve departmental metrics as defined.
