Job Title: Sales Manager
Job Type: Full-time, salary + annual bonus (exempt) position $75K-$90K (DOE)

Sales Manager Job Summary
As a dedicated and highly driven Sales Manager you are responsible for the management and structure of the “The Company’s” walk-in, call in and internet customer experience with guidance and direction from the Director of Sales. This individual will need to be motivated and required to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations while increasing sales revenue and gross profit margins. As the Sales Manager, this person will be responsible for supporting the Director of Sales with various market research/analysis and sales support tasks.

Sales Manager Duties and Responsibilities
· Adhere to all applicable safety policies, procedures and standards.
· Work closely with the Director of Sales to hire, train and manage the Inside Sales Team with the goal of increasing overall new and used machine and attachment sales.
· Conduct frequently scheduled in-field observations with Outside Sales Representatives to provide coaching and training.
· Conduct frequently scheduled on-site observations with Inside Sales Representatives to provide coaching and training.
· Work closely with the Director of Sales to create “The Company’s” “Retail Presence” standards at all locations by implementing ease of sales and store appearance standards to enhance the customers buying experience with the goal of increasing overall new and used machine and attachment sales through effective pricing.
· Manage the daily operations of the Inside Sales team including but not limited to; new and used machine and attachment sales, inbound calls, outbound call campaigns, internet leads, equipment displays, equipment pricing and the overall walk-in customer experience.
· Work closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing to create effective call campaigns to generate an increasing number of quality leads.
· Work closely with the Director of Sales to implement and train Sales Staff in CRM usage.
· Manage the lead generation, lead qualification, lead follow up and lead tracking processes.
· Responsible for all aspects of used inventory; acquisition, maintenance, inventory, advertising, and disposal
· Develop and maintain good relationships with all departments.
· Maintain an organized process for tracking phone calls and managing both incoming calls and walk in customers and lead sharing with outside reps.
· Be proficient in all Bobcat support software and websites.
· Ability to comprehend, capture and interpret customer and equipment information.
· Excellent customer relationship management, computer skills, proficient use of Microsoft Office applications, and work management software.
· Proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills utilizing professional written and verbal communication.
· Excellent planning, organizing, leadership and interpersonal relationship building. Must be an excellent collaborator and listener.
· Work well under pressure with the ability to set and manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands of the work environment.
· Ability to effectively and safely operate all equipment assigned.
· Must be able to work independently and without supervision.
· All other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
· High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent.
· Associate’s degree in business or related discipline preferred Prior experience in sales, rental and or customer service experience is required Effectively work from remote locations.
· Familiar with the use of heavy equipment in a comparable industry, experience preferred.
· Valid drivers’ license.
Sales Manager Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Bilingual (English & Spanish) a plus.
· Industry knowledge, a plus.
· Minimum 5 years’ experience in an inside/outside sales role.
· Ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with others in a positive and professional manner.
· Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills.
· Ability to work flexible hours as necessary to accommodate customer’s needs.
· Available to travel when needed.
· Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
· Fanatical about Customer Service – understands what it takes to be successful in starting and building customer relationships through obsessive attention to service and parts requirements.
· Communication – Strong communicator and collaborator within the Aftermarket team. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
