The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics consists of more than 275 staff members and coaches and sponsors 30 varsity sports programs. These 30 programs include more than 850 student-athletes who participate in the various sports programs annually within the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA). We are currently seeking a Manager, Premium Services.
Cal Athletics operates a variety of revenue generation programs and strategies, to increase support for our 30 varsity sports programs. These programs interface with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including individual donors, corporations, and campus units. The Manager, Premium Services position is primarily responsible for supporting the Assistant Athletic Director, Revenue Initiatives with assigned Revenue Generation projects that support creating increased funding and support for Cal Athletics from both traditional and innovative new revenue sources.
Support development of Premium Seating retention and Revenue Generation programs, events, and communications strategies designed to inform external constituencies of opportunities to support Cal Athletics.
Process new pledge seat agreements, manage special ticket requests, and other administrative tasks as assigned related to overall Cal Athletics premium seating programs.
Lead front-line service needs for a portfolio of select individual premium seating accounts, as assigned.
Manage day of game Premium Seating Concierge Table as well as additional projects including (but not limited to) non-traditional revenue generation programs, and others as assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director and/or the Chief Revenue Officer.
Support new business development efforts including research of various topics and gathering relevant data to inform strategic plans.
Create ad hoc reports as assigned.
Work closely with internal units, such as Ticket Operations, Ticket Sales, Development, and Cal Athletics varsity sports programs in order to achieve goals.
Demonstrated front-facing customer service experience.
Demonstrated strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task within a high volume/complex environment.
Demonstrated strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent years experience and/or training.
Applicable computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce CRM (or equivalent programs).
Ability to troubleshoot customer service issues and proactively solve issues as they arise.
Experience with the internal operations of Intercollegiate Athletics.
Familiarity with the Cal Football Club Seating Program.
