Job Description:

  • A full-time Regional Sales Director experienced in maintaining and developing relationships with current and new End Users (School Districts, Colleges, Health organizations) Consulting Firms, and Commercial A/V Integrators
  • Responsible for developing and expanding sales throughout the assigned territory, by coordinating efforts with Design Consultants / Architects, End Users, new and existing Integration Partners
  • Frequent travel visiting and educating your customers through delivering professional, informative product presentations
  • Collecting and analyzing customer input and market trend to support in-house marketing and product development

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a regional sales position supporting partners and end users
  • Initially, this position will require you to follow direction from management as to where you’ll travel and who you’ll meet with
  • The ability to accept responsibility for developing business with overnight travel expected to be at least two weeks out of every month or 50+%
  • This position requires you to live in a major city within the territory and nearby a major airport.
  • Technical sales experience, particularly in some or all the following areas: Analog / Digital (IP) Based Communications platforms, Telecom & Data, Fire & Security systems integration would be ideal.
  • Demonstrated capability in assisting in closing long-cycle sales opportunities and consistently achieving sales quotas
  • Proactive personality and self-motivated attitude with an ambitious career goal in advancing to future higher sales/marketing executive position(s)
  • Independent and self-motivated with the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Ability to develop or grow a dealer-based network for a specific product category
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and willing to travel on overnights
  • Experience in the Pro Audio-Visual Communications industry helpful
  • Knowledge of Computer / Internet and/or computer-related industries
  • Ability to travel by car and airplane
  • Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
