As a Sales Development Consultant you will performing various Inside Sales related activities to support the Republic Services Sales Organization through demand generation, new sales or servicing of existing customers to achieve targeted profitable growth.

  • Provides vertical, geographical, product or team sales support to new or existing Republic Services’ customers for demand generation activities.
  • Initiates outgoing customer calls and emails with prospective clients in a professional manner to establish new business.
  • Performs research into prospect accounts using a variety of sales tools based on assigned sales focus.
  • Based on assigned sales focus, makes cold calls in order to obtain key information from targeted prospects to meet the daily qualified lead or contact criteria.
  • Utilizes the Company’s Salesforce CRM tool to accurately track leads, opportunities, customer records, reporting and all other information to properly use the system as trained.
  • On a daily basis tracks prospects, identifies decision makers, timelines, and enters data accurately and consistently into Salesforce as trained or required.
  • Works with Field Sales representatives to provide effective sales coverage of new or existing business to provide the best customer experience to Republic Service’s customers
  • May be required to participate in various pilot programs in Inside Sales or the Sales Development team to further demand generation and sales activities.
  • Accountable for meeting or exceeding performance metrics identified by Inside Sales and Customer Experience and Sales leadership around customer experience, sales activity, and sales revenue
  • Attends sales meetings and/or training and maintains open communications with sales team members to maintain current understanding of all company products and services;
  • Participates in learning and training opportunities when appropriate to continuously build customer services and sales knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent


  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Understanding of Republic Services products, services, sales, and procedures.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive problem solving capabilities and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter who is detail oriented and able to overcome obstacles.
  • Spanish bilingual fluency, in a business environment.


  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in call center or sales environment.

Key Accountabilities  * Create customer success plans to drive growth for each account  * Support solution design and technical implementation of current desired integrations as outlined in the customer success plan. * Monitor user adoption and product utilization and create targeted programs to increase engagement and support the agency's change management process. * Build strong relationships between the Miovision product and support teams to ensure continuous resolution of ongoing operational issues as well as product deficiencies that may come up.  * Participate in regular support and health checks to ensure accounts are continuing to derive value from our solutions * Support software renewal and upselling activities  Skills/Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalency or achievement of recognized professional level * 5+ years of technical experience; must understand network products * Ability to travel internationally, providing on-site consulting work to clients * Ability to manage multiple projects utilizing strong planning and organizational skills * Experience with general consulting skills that include team facilitation, business case development, strong business analysis skills, process mapping and process redesign * Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management and support * Analytical nature with the ability to solve complex business issues * Basic understanding of product development and engineering processes.  We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
