It is a Hybrid position local to Burlingame, CA .
An ideal candidate for this role will be a senior data analyst who has good domain understanding of demand planning and supply chain, and excellent client facing skills. The role will require extensive communication and day-to-day interaction with cross functional teams. You will be using SQL skills for querying and manipulating data and must have an eye for details.
You are part of a dynamic sales operations & demand planning team, maintaining SSOT (Single Source of Truth), analyzing data, generating insights and communicating with cross functional teams.
Technical Skills Required:
Query Languages: Proficient in SQL, and analyzing data in the form of dashboards/ tables
Spreadsheets: Advanced Proficiency in MS Excel/ Google Spreadsheets, advanced spreadsheet functions and formulas (Examples: Lookup & Reference, Pivot tables, Math & Logical).
CRM: A business user of Salesforce CRM (Salesforce.com Lightning Version)
Collaboration/ Communication: Office 365, Chat/ Messaging Tools
Roles & Responsibilities:
● Comparing and analyzing sales/ inventory forecasts against actual sales performance and inventory levels reported on daily/weekly/monthly frequency.
● Running SQL queries to pull data from tables and performing data validation & conducting data exploration.
● Interpreting data presented in the form of tables, charts, and reports and making valid inferences using descriptive statistics and trend analysis.
● Generating relevant reports pertaining to the demand planning process.
● Working closely with supply chain, sales, marketing, and finance teams for ensuring optimal demand forecast accuracy.
● Responding to critical production operational issues and following up with the application/ technical team for resolution.
● Coordinating with different teams on the integration points and bringing resolution to the problems.
● Recommending ideas to improve the overall process and ensure an efficient workflow.
● Updating documentation on all activities and deliverables.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
