About the Role

Senior Revenue Business Analyst will support RevPro and NetSuite enhancements and technical projects for the Revenue Operations team at AppDynamics. You have a strong working knowledge of revenue system implications and ASC606 principles and will use this to form a collaborative bridge between your stakeholders and business applications support team.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work closely with business users to identify current and future state business processes. You will manage projects and build solutions for system updates required to meet future state goals. You will collaborate closely with Salesforce, NetSuite and other business units involved in the Quote2Cash process . You have a passion for innovation and best practices, and will use your deep knowledge to guide your business stakeholders and technical colleagues towards scalable and efficient outcomes.

Review existing customizations and design new enhancements based on evolving requirements of revenue recognition
Work with the business systems and revenue team to implement new capabilities and systems
Partner closely with revenue stakeholders in understanding current system gaps and then work with internal development team or Revpro support team to implement solutions
Assist in QA and user acceptance testing of existing and proposed software solutions
Manage systems configurations for core financial modules & Revpro
Support continuous improvement and optimization of existing systems and processes
Support revenue reconciliation process, data validations, heath checks and work with Revpro support team to resolve the discrepancies as needed
Support operational financial close processes, prioritize support activities to provide most business value within limited capacity, and identify opportunities to automate and optimize recurring Production issues.
Experience driving alignment among business stakeholders from divergent functions
Ensure that requests from the business organization are effectively qualified, prioritized and executed
Create and maintain business requirement and system documentation
Proactive and positive communication with technical colleagues and business leaders that generates trust and influences best practice decisions

BA/ BS in Business or accounting related field, or related degree
5-7 years’ experience in systems analyst roles, implementing and supporting ERP and other applications such as Netsuite, Salesforce, Revpro
Experience with setting up and implementing RevPro
A deep understanding of financial business processes (Quote-to-Cash, Billing, Revenue Management), from Netsuite & Revpro standpoint
Strong knowledge of handling end to end integrations between applications
Experience working in a collaborative and disciplined change control process environment like JIRA.
Strong project management skills
Strong analytical skills with ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
General understanding of Accounting and Revenue recognition concepts
Strong Business Process re-engineering and documentation skills
Ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities with competing priorities
Must be comfortable interacting with a wide range of IT and business professionals across multiple business areas.
