Title: Senior Director – Client Experience

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Senior Director on the Client Experience team, you will be a leaders of clients, projects, and other Kantar analysts. You will help lead and manage projects and clients in a team-based setting, providing support to Kantar account VPs and clients. Primary responsibilities include the direction and coordination of the overall team to complete analysis and interpretation of data to support strategies in areas such as merchandising, shelving, assortment, and distribution. They will foster and build professional relationships, through mentoring and coaching others, recognizing strengths, and helping them overcome weaknesses. The Senior Director will also be fully fluent in all the frontline responsibilities of managers and analysts and will frequently lead by doing. They will increasingly be the primary leader of critical client relationships or co-partner with our account VPs. You will also have client-facing opportunities to develop solutions, create and deliver project proposals, pitches, and presentations, and conduct training workshops while gaining fantastic exposure to the CPG industry and the underlying dynamics between manufacturers and retailers.

KEY OUTCOMES

As a Senior Director – Client Experience you will:

  • Own major client relationships, including account planning, cross-selling, and ensuring clients have access to full suite of both Perfect Category and connectivity to Total Kantar offer

  • Secure/upsell PC offer to existing client base

  • Annual planning forecast for key accounts managed

  • Lead ingestion/onboarding of all-new clients

  • Has frequent development discussions with direct reports

  • Capture revenue by assisting and in certain cases leading NBD sales for Perfect Category

  • Own a Sales Target to aid in team sales and revenue goals.

  • Effectively lead an internal team of managers and analysts, helping them meet client challenges and supporting their analytic activities

  • Develop data-driven recommendations to consumer packaged goods clients that will help them optimize key retail strategies.

  • Lead project scoping and proposal development.

  • Lead/co-lead client pitches

  • Recommend solutions for process improvement

  • Serve as team mentor and coach for managers and junior analysts

  • Drive client success best practices

  • Expertise in making category assortment recommendations to retailers

  • Learn and apply the concepts of revenue management

  • Direct team delegation of deliverables

  • Develop and test new tool features

  • Contribute to tool innovation ideas through client collaboration.

  • Organize and communicate pillars of customer success, including platform usage to facilitate renewals

CAPABILITIES

To succeed in this role, you’ll have:

  • 4-6 years’ hands-on experience working with sales data or other large databases to identify insights and solutions (experience with syndicated data preferred)

  • Ability to lead a team of managers and analysts in delivering high-quality work, manage team workload and staffing on projects and support client conversations

  • Strong client and project management skills, able to work on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Familiarity and experience with Excel, SQL & other statistical and/or data tools

  • Proven client-facing experience, helping to uncover and address client needs, deliver and explain analyses and problem solve

  • Experience with Salesforce for tracking client opportunities

  • Presentation and storytelling experience with PowerPoint
