The Sales Performance Manager is a critical partner to the sales organization – driving key development and sales initiatives to foster a high performing sales organization. As a member of the Sales Excellence organization, this role works closely with immediate Sales teams and their Leaders within Experian Marketing Services – but also interacts with the executive team, various cross functional departments, and counterparts around the globe to leverage successful operating rhythms and best practices.

What you’ll be doing

  • As a key member of the sales organization, the Sales Performance Manager is responsible for overseeing the sales development initiatives at Experian Marketing Services. This role is accountable for identifying skills, knowledge, resources, communication, tools, and abilities necessary for sales professionals to achieve high growth, performance, and impact.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing and Sales Leaders to implement process improvements, as well as product and sales development programs that help the sales channel achieve its business objectives.
  • Use curiosity and consulting to understand business objectives, sales routines, performance and trends data and current state to uncover an approach to improving performance.
  • Design and deploy engaging sales communications and training programs using a combination of learning approaches including information centralization (e.g. videos, eLearnings, mobile training, assessments, job resources and experiential activities).
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training and development programs and utilize relevant evaluation data to address performance expectations, establish measurable learning objectives, and develop and execute appropriate interventions to address performance gaps.
  • Provides learning and development thought leadership, coaching, and advisory support to leaders across the business.
  • Partner across global and regional networks and teams to continue to information share and leverage organizational best practices for effective sales training programs and sales initiatives.
  • Create role specific onboarding and sales certifications for field related roles using technology and leader support.
  • Partners with Executives to create strategies to support various projects, process improvements, tech stack implementation and new business initiatives.
  • Implement/support the delivery of larger scale team experiences (e.g. leadership training, department meetings, territory reviews, conferences, and summits) using a variety of media tools (e.g. virtual platforms, video, mobile apps, etc.).
  • Work with Salesforce, Marketing, and Product teams to create tools for improved sales conversations and conversions.
  • Apply learnings from Customer Loyalty survey results to training and client opportunities.
  • Manage Learning Management System for Targeting – building/maintaining of training modules (design, relevance, use, etc.) in platform
  • Perform other job-related duties as required
  • Digest and understand Experian product offerings, market trends by vertical, in order to effectively deliver tools and training to improve sales performance
  • Communicate clearly at all levels of the organization publishing sales accomplishments, initiatives, or sales performance analysis.

Qualifications


To be successful, you would…

  • Bring 3+ years of relevant experience in professional development, change management and instructional design with contemporary knowledge of adult learning - knowledge of Consumer Data, Digital Media Advertising and Marketing landscape highly desired
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Bring a track record of productive internal relationships to collaboratively achieve business outcomes. Creates happy internal clients and measurable results.
  • Be a proactive, self-starter who thrives working independently (60%) and with team members (40%)
  • Love the sales culture and thrives in a collegial, people and results focused team – with passion for continuous improvement and leveraging the expertise of partners and business leaders
  • Design engaging communications and training programs using a combination of learning approaches (videos, eLearnings, mobile training, assessments, and experiential activities).
  • Be adept at facilitating meetings, design sessions and live and virtual training, and 1:1 coaching.
  • Possess knowledge in these areas: Sales, B2B Product Development, Financial Services, Identity Management
  • Have proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, e-Learning platforms, authoring applications and learning management systems (LMS). Helpful tools include Articulate, Camtasia, Publisher and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Proven track record for designing and facilitating virtual and in-person learning experiences, including evaluation strategies to measure effectiveness of learning programs
  • Strong ability to build high trust relationships with sellers and leaders at all levels
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills – comfortable speaking to a large group either in-person or via web conference
  • A continuous learner with a consultative mindset – including a scrappy, “find a way to get it done” mentality with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
