Deployment Engineer / Systems Engineer

Ridge IT is seeking to hire a Systems Engineer to support our solutions practice related to project-based technology implementations, addressing tier 2 related technical issues and providing overall support to company projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud technologies and providing direct support to customers. The position:

Projects/ Tier 2 Tech Work 70%
Deployment Advisory Projects 20%
Sales-Engineer Support 10%

Your primary role in this position is solving complex issues and providing white glove implementation services for our solutions and projects to our commercial and government customers. In addition:

  • Supporting our sales teams with subject matter expertise, product demos, and test environments.
  • Deployment Advisory Projects which work with the customer’s IT staff to implement our SaaS solutions in an advisory role

  • Demonstrates analytical, seasoned troubleshooting skills and SaaS experience,

  • Is able to work towards a deadline independently and with minimal oversight.

The work:

  • Manage the implementation process from start to finish, in alignment with the company's deployment schedule and standard operating procedures.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues Streamline approaches to task and problems. Set up and configure SaaS offerings.
  • Set up and configure SaaS offerings.
  • Provide technical advisory support directly to customers via Zoom, email, and phone.
  • Provide specialty support to the implementation and sales teams.

Specific Skills:

  • Advanced Trouble Shooting of complex problems that involve multiple systems
  • Firewall Rules Experience
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, network segmentation and routing
  • Experience in VPN technologies and implementation
  • URL Filtering rules experience
  • Management of virtual machines
  • SAML or another modern authentication protocol Experience
  • Knowledgeable of Azure AD
  • Demonstrated experience with Cloud/SaaS Technology

Added Bonus Skills:

  • Office 365 Technologies – Exchange, OneDrive, Intune, SharePoint Admin, File Storage
  • Management of Azure environments
  • Powershell


  • 5+ years of experience with consulting or technology
  • 3+ years of experience in client-facing roles
  • Excellent ability to multitask and prioritize a workload
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A strong drive towards quality, efficiency, problem solving, and timeliness
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
