Job Description

The Medical Marketing Brand Manager will support the Vision Capital Division by managing marketing initiatives for the existing product portfolio. Additionally, the Portfolio Manager will launch and integrate new products and product line extensions from concept to execution. This position develops and implements strategies to support B2B sales for our products as well as B2C sales for our customers through development of practice management strategies, initiatives, and collateral. The Portfolio Manager liaises with suppliers to adopt products into the portfolio; and works closely with the Medical Marketing Director and Division Sales Director to gain insight into the business and clinical aspects of the market in order to develop strategic marketing programs.

The successful applicant will:

  • Implement marketing strategies to support B2B sales for Clarion products through development of practice management tools, initiatives and collateral
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to understand the business and clinical aspects of the market to track strategic marketing programs that support financial objectives
  • Work alongside the Marketing and Sales Director to develop quarterly and annual Marketing plans including communication initiatives, sales, marketing, and technical programs
  • Serve as an information resource to sales and internal teams through expert knowledge of products in the assigned portfolio
  • Provide executive summary reports, competitive analysis, and ROI for all projects
  • Work with graphic designers, external vendors, to develop and execute campaigns
  • Conduct ongoing customer, market, and competitive analysis to develop reports and comparison matrices
  • Developing social media / digital content

We are seeking a candidate with the following attributes:

  • College or University education required with a preferred focus on marketing
  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing ideally within the health industry
  • Sound understanding of marketing principles, business forecasting and industry needs
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Exceptional copywriting skills with respect to marketing collateral
  • Effective project management skills
  • Superior organizational ability with extreme attention to detail
  • Demonstrated creativity, situation analysis/problem solving skills and analytical skills
  • Strong technical skills; Microsoft office with advanced excel and numerical analysis
  • Adobe experience
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, ability to work in a fast-paced environment that is continually changing
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills – ability to build excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Bilingual would be an asset but not a requirement
