With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality roofing services across the Phoenix metro area, we are on a mission to scale our roofing operations to $12M/year within the next three years, and to $20M within five years. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Roofing Sales Manager to lead, mentor, and grow our sales team with high-performing sales reps to meet or exceed the goals of the company. This is a key leadership role with tremendous growth potential, offering the opportunity to be part of a high-impact journey as we expand our Roofing operations.
Position Summary:
The Roofing Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and implementing strategic sales plans, recruiting and mentoring sales representatives, and building a high-performing sales culture. The ideal candidate has a proven background in roofing or construction sales management (or something similar), is goal-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment working with team members, guiding them to success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership & Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to grow roofing operations from $3M to $12M/year (up to $20M within five years).
- Team Building: Recruit, hire, and onboard 10-15 new sales reps, ultimately growing the team to meet (or exceed) company/department growth goals.
- Sales Coaching & Performance Management: Motivate and mentor the sales team to meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Pipeline Management: Monitor sales metrics, manage the pipeline, and report on progress to the executive team.
- Sales Process Optimization: Implement scalable sales processes and tools to maximize efficiency and close rates.
- Client Relations: Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, production, and finance teams to align operations and ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience sales management, preferrably in the trades
- Proven Success: Track record of leading a growing sales team and scaling operations to achieve significant revenue growth.
- Leadership: Strong people management skills with experience in hiring, training, and developing sales reps.
- Sales Expertise: Deep knowledge of roofing products, services, and industry best practices.
- Technology Savvy: Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales reporting tools.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: Base salary of $90,000 - $120,000, depending on experience
