HVAC Refrigeration Sales


Position Overview:

The HVAC Refrigeration Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) and refrigeration systems, equipment, and services. This position requires a strong understanding of HVAC and refrigeration technology, industry trends, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers in commercial and industrial sectors. The role involves prospecting, developing sales strategies, and delivering tailored solutions that meet client needs.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or a related sales environment.
    • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
    • Experience in B2B or B2C sales, especially within the HVAC, construction, or mechanical industries, is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and energy-efficient technologies.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to build rapport with customers and manage long-term relationships.
    • Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Certifications:
    • HVAC certifications (e.g., EPA 608 certification) are a plus.
    • Sales certifications or training may also be beneficial.


Working Conditions:

  • Travel:
    • Frequent travel may be required to visit customers, attend industry events, or visit job sites.
  • Work Environment:
    • Primarily office-based with some field visits to customer sites, construction zones, and installations.
  • Compensation:

$85 - $110k Yearly (Negotiable)
