SQL POWER Group Inc. is a Canadian Global Software firm specializing in Financial Regulation, Digital Government Transformation and Advanced Analytics. We help global financial regulators and all levels of government automate and digitally transform their processes and bridge the technology gap.

About the Role
This is a new business development role, encompassing territory planning, lead generation, account development, presentations, product demonstrations, RFPs, in support of a multi-million dollar software solutions for some of the largest and most influential Financial Regulatory Authorities.

The successful global BDE will be responsible for driving new sales by developing relationships with high level government officials and public sector stakeholders in advance of their organizations journey for digital transformation. The successful candidates will be execution focused, bring a disciplined approach to prospecting and BD, will high level of interest in technology, data and or the financial market.

The Global Business Development Executive will be responsible to
  • develop new and existing territories across the globe
  • developing client partnerships with Central Banks, Securities Commissions and Regulatory Authorities around the world.
  • As a result of COVID-19, (CLIENT) has released a SaaS+ platform solution designed to help financial regulators provide flexibility and perform critical oversight functions despite facing pandemic challenges.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 5-10+ years of practical B2B business development experience
  • 3+ years of Enterprise sales experience
  • 3+ years of SaaS / Software sales experience
  • 3+ years selling technology solutions or services
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Marketing or related business discipline

The Ideal Candidate
  • Is results oriented, a self starter, has exceptional communication skills, loves technology and is able to learn new software tools quickly.
  • Software Sales experience in the Financial Regulation and Supervision or capital market industry is considered an asset
  • Will owning the full sales cycle, from prospecting, new business development, Relationship Development, Solution Demonstrations, Presentations, all the way through to RFPs and Proposal writing.
  • Is an effective communicator across various internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience working with CRM software, for sales automation

Overview: We are currently looking to hire energetic SDRs. This position is an integral part of our sales engine. SDRs are focussed on the front end of the sales cycle and be the face of Freshworks. The SDR team is responsible for identifying opportunities and generate a sales pipeline. This role is based out of Chennai. Responsibilities (What you'll be expected to do): - Generate qualified opportunities for the company by rigorously prospecting and researching in the assigned region/market. - Do rigorous research on companies, and build an effective sales pipeline. - Strike and initiate conversations with high-profile personas of companies you are prospecting. - Be the face of Freshworks and pitch the company and our products to the prospects. - Come up with creative emails and campaigns to draw the attention of prospects. Requirements (What we look for in candidates): Must-haves: - 4-8 years of work experience in any customer-facing sales role. - Clear, concise, and effective written and oral communication skills. - Empathy towards customers and understanding their needs. - Interest, curiosity, and openness to learning new technologies. - Prior exposure to tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, DiscoverOrg, ZoomInfo, etc. - Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders as well as end customers. - Learning mindset and the right attitude that will help you thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. - Ability to handle rejections and stay focused and driven. - Ability to multi-task and manage your tasks effectively. - Flexibility in working in different shifts/regions. This is absolutely mandatory because you will be expected to work in a specific shift for a minimum of two years. Good to have: - Prior work experience in SaaS product companies in domains relevant to Freshworks' suite of products. - A proven track record of consistency in overachieving targets.
