IRISS inc, a global leader in Safety & Reliability for critical asset monitoring, inspection, and management, specializing in the design, manufacturing, and sales of these electrical reliability solutions across multiple industries.
We are growing our salesforce and are looking for an energetic Business Development Manager who will be responsible for developing sales demand, technically focused on increasing sales revenue and market share with new and existing customers within OEM’s, industrial /distribution channels, and engineering firms, and strategic key accounts. The ideal candidate will have documented 5+ years of combined conceptual and, consultative, selling experience utilizing Top-Down, and Bottom-Up strategies with focus on electrical products, applications, solutions, software and services.
Prospect, Identify, Prioritize, and Target new customers in the Region.
Work with Electrical Sector business leaders to articulate strategic rationale for investing
Develop STRATEGIC sales plans for KEY Accounts
Working with clients at executive, engineering, operations, and facility levels
Experienced “Hunters” drive and motivation to win customer orders (this is not an account maintenance role)
Manage Existing Relationships & Strategies
Design-in activity and TARGET customers buying both direct and through distribution channels
Analyze and maintain regional sales data and when appropriate, assigned verticals
Manage opportunity pipeline and identify growth platforms and build / manage the acquisition pipeline
Manage Channel Distribution in Assigned Region
Grow and manage partner channels that include Integrators. panel builders, OEMs, distributors, contractors, testing firms, EPC’s, independent consultants, etc.
Coordinate activities, consult, and influence distributors in region
Identify and recruit new channel partners that align with IRISS’s business model
Onboard, train, and instill business accountability measures to performance
Establish Tactical Sales Plan for Region
Forecast fiscal year budget, quarter-to-plan, and month-to-plan
Lead sales activities that drive revenue growth
Follow up on new leads, grow accounts, identify & create new business opportunities and close
Minimum of 5 years of successful full-cycle sales experience selling a technical product line, preferably to industrial, utility, energy or large commercial customers
Experience selling products and services associated with electrical power, switchgear, motors and transformers is a PLUS
Strong sales discipline and negotiation capabilities; strong interpersonal relationship building
Working knowledge of Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PPT, Word, Outlook).
Highly self-motivated and entrepreneurial (opportunity focused, results driven).

Remote based - however, priority will be given to candidates in these ideal locations; Florida, Nevada, Texas, Missouri, Pennsylvania
