Position Overview:
Luminosity Supply & Solutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing customer relationships, providing sales support, and ensuring smooth office operations. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, proactive, and able to balance multiple responsibilities, including inside sales, office backup, purchasing, client communication, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Inside Sales Support:
  • Field inside sales calls.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, process orders, and provide product information.
  • Assist with the preparation of proposals and follow up with clients to ensure timely responses.
  • Support outside salespeople with customer service.
  • Follow up with customers on estimated ship dates and or back-order information.
  • Track and manage leads through CRM systems, ensuring data is current and accurate.
  • Ensure proper delivery and payment.
  • Review Bidnet opportunities and disperse to salespeople accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets and objectives.
Purchasing & Inventory Coordination:
  • Assist with sourcing and purchasing products as needed, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and manage inventory levels to meet client needs.
  • Monitor stock availability and place reorders to prevent shortages.
Client Communication & Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Follow up on sales proposals, address client concerns, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients, fostering open communication and trust.
Office Backup & Administrative Duties:
  • Provide backup support for office tasks, including answering phones, scheduling meetings, and handling general administrative duties.
  • Assist with the coordination of office activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Support other team members when necessary, demonstrating a collaborative and adaptable approach.
Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client communications, and transactions.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, track performance metrics, and assist in data analysis to identify trends.
  • Ensure all documentation is properly filed and accessible for team members.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.
  • Knowledge of purchasing and inventory processes is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptable and willing to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
