Job Title: Sales Rep - Heavy Machinery

Job Summary:

UHI Machinery is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales rep to help our sales team in promoting and selling our range of heavy machinery, including excavators, skid steers, wheel loaders, and other construction equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management, a deep understanding of the heavy machinery industry, and a passion for driving growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Formulate and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets and expand market share within the heavy machinery sector.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers. Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, trends, and competitor activity. Use insights to adjust sales strategies and approaches.
  • Sales Planning and Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and reports. Monitor sales performance metrics and implement corrective actions when needed to ensure targets are met.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of UHI Machinery’s product range, features, benefits, and applications. Provide product training to the sales team and act as a product expert for customers.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations and close high-value deals. Ensure contracts and agreements are executed in line with company policies and standards.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, customer service, and operations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and alignment of sales activities with company objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sales rep or similar role in the heavy machinery or construction equipment industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth understanding of the heavy machinery market, customer needs, and industry trends.
  • Ability to analyze data, develop insights, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Proficient in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
