SUMMARY: *To act as a liaison between the retailers, customer, business stakeholders and the IT development, application and reporting teams with full life-cycle responsibility ensuring successful implementation of solutions that meet our business needs. To gather and understand business needs, determining, documenting and prioritizing requirements from the business and presenting these requirements in a manner that is agreeable, measurable and flexible enough to meet project and stakeholder needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, & RESPONSIBILITES: The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned.   • Manage the organization and documentation of business requirements to ensure the project team develops and implements solutions that meet customer needs and minimize defects prior to implementation.
  • Manage multiple projects/task/assignments of various complexities while maintaining time frames and end user satisfaction.
  • Oversee change request processes including facilitating weekly meetings with business and technology teams to assist in timely and quality project completion.
  • Schedule, coordinate and facilitate requirements gathering sessions with the business to identify and drive complete requirements.
  • Creates functional, conceptual and logical design specifications.
  • Assist in the development and update of project plans, schedules and estimates.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to create effective business requirements to ensure fast project delivery
  • Collaborate with business and IT team to ensure timely and accurate project completion
  • Assists in documentation for all internal system application and integration projects including user documentation and developer documentation.


  • Participates in SCRUM, spring planning and stand-up meetings
  • May assist in key projects, performs project management




  • Ex: This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., 40 hours per week. No travel is required for this position. This position requires the employee to work on-site at the facility they are assigned to.

Required: (Indicate education/experience requirements that are job-related & consistent with business needs.)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in software development and able to translate business requirements into technical details.
  • Experience developing functional specifications, use cases and other SDLC deliverables.
  • Strong technical documentation skills.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, communications and presentation / facilitation skills to all levels of management.
  • Experience with data validation, data manipulation, import/export data to other tools such as Excel or Access
  • Self-starter with excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with T-SQL to perform data validation at the database level is a plus
  • Knowledge of EDI or data mappings is a plus
  • Prior software development experience is a plus
