Job Overview

Opus IVS is currently seeking a dynamic Account Executive for an inside sales role focused on generating new business sales within an assigned territory. You will be working in collaboration with our internal Sales Development Representatives (SDR’s) & marketing team to help generate new business opportunities and maintain a consistent sales pipeline.

You will play a key role in helping to educate potential customers about the importance of OE scanning, while positioning Opus IVS as the best solution within the automotive repair/collision industry. Using a consultative selling approach, you will build new B2B relationships helping businesses understand the importance of following OE position statements, OEM level scanning, and post repair liability.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Prospect for new business through cold calling, email, & social media within an assigned territory
  • Close new business sales within an assigned territory
  • About 70% Outbound & 30% inbound lead distribution
  • Hit & exceed a monthly sales quota
  • Work the full sales cycle from opening to closing the sale
  • Work a variety of inbound leads including web leads, call-ins, pre-set appointments, and/or live phone transfers from our SDR’s
  • Build meaningful business relationships through a consultative selling approach
  • Generate, maintain, and expand the existing database of prospects within an assigned territory
  • Team with channel partners and other industry leaders within an assigned Territory to expand your footprint & brand
  • Hit key performance indicators (KPI’s) including calls, talk time, pipeline, sales, etc.

Helpful Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business
  • Some automotive industry or software sales experience

Requirements (What we look for in candidates): Must-haves: - 4-8 years of work experience in any customer-facing sales role. - Clear, concise, and effective written and oral communication skills. - Empathy towards customers and understanding their needs. - Interest, curiosity, and openness to learning new technologies. - Prior exposure to tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, DiscoverOrg, ZoomInfo, etc. - Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders as well as end customers. - Learning mindset and the right attitude that will help you thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. - Ability to handle rejections and stay focused and driven. - Ability to multi-task and manage your tasks effectively. - Flexibility in working in different shifts/regions. This is absolutely mandatory because you will be expected to work in a specific shift for a minimum of two years. Good to have: - Prior work experience in SaaS product companies in domains relevant to Freshworks' suite of products. - A proven track record of consistency in overachieving targets.
